Political Campaigns

Changing the Face of Politics, LLC

January 19, 2017, was a monumental day. The Women’s March in Washington D.C. drew the most massive international crowd for a one day protest in history and was the inspiration for my business, Changing the Face of Politics. We create compelling brands and robust digital marketing for political, fundraising, and awareness campaigns to amplify the message of diverse, progressive women and their allies. A New York City tech firm, Skillcrush, that teaches tech skills to women looking for a career change covered our timely business. See the article here.

Pamela Boozer-Strother for School Board

Pam was running for a competitive school board seat in Prince George’s County in Maryland. She knew her voting base was an older voting block and wanted to keep her branding on the conservative side. However, her audience on social media channels and campaign events would be younger families in the near-by neighborhoods having a young child in the schools.

I designed this campaign to fit all of her needs, with a stylish tee shirt design but a more conservative approach to her yard sign. Consistent fonts and colors united all the elements. I believe the attention to detail in her campaign materials made her stand out among the competition. She won her race by a considerable margin.

Kriss Marion for Wisconsin State Senate District 17

Kriss Marion hired Changing the Face of Politics to work on her print and web graphics for her race for Wisconsin State Senate. See her testimonial here.

David Hoffert for City of Madison Alder, District 13

I created the logo and palm cards for David’s race for Madison Alder. He had never worked with a designer before and really enjoyed the experience. See his testimonial here.
